Topic of day is goals. Before starting a work , it is necessary to set the goals which are going to be achieve in future.

In Teamwork:
It is the first step in characteristics of a successful team. A clear and
elevating goal is characterized its two elements are:
1) The
goal should be clear and
2) The
goal should be elevating.
2.) What
Makes Good Goals?
An objective is a clear
statement of what could and should be.
An objective must have a compelling quality . A goal is a statement of results
to be achieved.
Goals should be clear,
specific, measurable, realistic, and achievable.
3.) Team
Oriented Goals
First, team goals
should require the team, because they can't be done by individuals. Second, team goals are critical for success
of the team's mission. Third, team goals
are the product of individual members goals.
Forth, team members believe they can influence and accomplish team
goals.
Team
oriented goals have the characteristics:
- Team
goals should be clear, understood, and communicate to all team members.
- Team
should feel ownership of goals.
- Goals should be shared.
- Team goals should not conflict with other
goals.
4.) Goal Clarity
Team goals should tell
what, when, how well, how much, for whom the team is working, and should have
both long term goals and short term goals.
5.) Vision and Mission in Teams
Vision is the starting
point for any team, and where the team wants to be at some future time.
